Hillman, Frances M.  

Frances M. Hillman, 69, of Monmouth, died 10:08 A.M. Saturday, January 27, 2007, at Community Medical Center, Monmouth.

She was born February 11, 1937 in Burlington, Iowa the daughter of George Arthur and Dorothy Dixon.  She was raised and educated in Burlington, IA and Aurora, IL.

Frances married William Donald Hillman Sr. in Peoria, Il in 1968 and he died April 7, 1982.

Frances was a homemaker.  She also worked at the Bellwood Nursing Home in Peoria for a few years.  Frances and William also ran the Veteran Cab Service in Monmouth for 5 years.

Surviving is her daughter, Diana (Gary) VanSkike of Monmouth; 3 sons, William D. Hillman III of Peoria, Robert (Tammi) Hillman of Ashland, IL and Timothy (Rosemary) Hillman of Davenport, IA; 16 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, George Dixon and Dennis Dixon both of Texas; one sister, Verna Dixon of Sandwich, IL; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 grandchildren, 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Funeral services will be 3:30 P.M. Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at Hoover-Hall Memorial Chapel, Monmouth.  Cremation will take place following the services.  Friends may call Tuesday at Hoover-Hall Memorial Chapel, Monmouth where her family will be present from 2:30-3:30 P.M.
