Greenstreet, Janet I.

Janet I. Greenstreet, 64, of Kirkwood, Illinois died at 9:37 A.M. Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at her home.

She was born February 2, 1943 in Monmouth, Illinois the daughter of Leonard L. and Lois Irene (Bollman) Reynolds.  She was raised and educated in Monmouth, graduating from Monmouth High School in 1960.

Janet was a homemaker.  She also owned and operated a Beauty Shop in Little York for several years.  Later, she worked for the Yorkwood School District at Yorkwood High School in the cafeteria for 8 years.   She loved spending time with her family and attending the events of her grandchildren.  She also enjoyed doing craft work.

Surviving is her three children, Joseph (Linda) Greenstreet of Monmouth, Mark Greenstreet of Monmouth and Michelle Greenstreet of Kirkwood; one granddaughter, Taylor Greenstreet of Monmouth; one step granddaughter, LaDana Featherston of Phoenix, AZ; one step-grandson, Joe Ragar of Monmouth; her mother, Lois Irene Reynolds of Monmouth; one brother, Lenny Reynolds of Greensboro, NC; one sister, Judy Reynolds of Monmouth; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father; one sister, Karen Reynolds and one step grandson, Brian Ragar.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 24, 2007 at Hoover-Hall Memorial Chapel, Monmouth.  Burial will be in Sugar Tree Grove Cemetery.  Friends may call Friday, March 23, 2007 at Hoover-Hall Memorial Chapel, Monmouth where her family will be present from 6:30-8:00 P.M.  Memorials may be given to the Michelle Greenstreet Special Needs Trust or Warren Achievement.
