Hanna, Pamela C.
Pamela C. Hanna, 50, of Gilson, Illinois died at 5:37 A.M. Thursday, March 22, 2007 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Galesburg.
She was born January 26, 1957 in Galesburg, Illinois the daughter of Donald and Marjorie (Noonan) Hanna. She was raised and educated in Alexis, graduating from Alexis High School in 1975. She later attended Carl Sandburg College receiving her LPN training.
Pamela married Kevin Hall in Alexis on October 7, 1978.
Pamela was a Licensed Practical Nurse for over 20 years. She most recently worked at the Galesburg Clinic and had worked at Cottage Hospital and for Interim Home Health Care in Peoria. She was also a professional country and Western singer. She recorded several records and appeared in music videos. She toured and was an opening act for Lee Greenwood, Freddie Fender, Barbara Fairchild, Bill Reeves and the Gatlin Brothers. She also toured with the Hee Haw Review Tour. Pamela loved animals, golfing and gardening.
She was of Catholic Faith.
Surviving is her son, Dustin Hall of Gilson; daughter, Sarah Hall of Gilson; parents, Don and Marge Hanna of Alexis; 2 sisters, Cyndi (Rob) Carter of Alexis and Julie Nelson of Galesburg; Kevin Hall; 3 nephews, 1 niece and precious dear friend, Lily.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, March 26, 2007 at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Alexis, Illinois with Fr. Michael Monclova celebrating. Burial will be in Alexis Cemetery. Friends may call after 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, March 25, 2007 at Hoover-Hall Memorial Chapel, Alexis where a Rosary Service will begin at 3:30 P.M. her family will be present from 4:00-6:00 P.M.
