Talley, Richard A.

Richard A. Talley, 30, of Monmouth died at 9:00 A.M., Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at Community Medical Center, Monmouth.

He was born August 9, 1976 in Monmouth, Illinois the son of Richard Hoopes and Kathy (Talley) Lamb.  He was raised and educated in Monmouth.

Richard married Deborah “Lynne” Whiteside in Monmouth on November 10, 1994 and she survives.

He worked in the maintenance department at the Warren County Housing Authority in Monmouth.  He enjoyed watching wrestling working in his yard and being with his family. He loved life and was a family man.

Surviving is his wife, Lynne Talley of Monmouth; one daughter, Erica Talley; one son, Chandler Talley both of Monmouth; his father, Richard Hoopes of Monmouth; his mother, Kathy (Bobby) Lamb of Galesburg; one sister, Lesley Talley of Monmouth; one brother, Wesley Talley of Monmouth, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, one aunt and several uncles.

Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 30, 2007 at Monmouth Cemetery with Rev. Jim Epperson of the First Christian Church of Monmouth officiating.  Friends may call Friday at Hoover-Hall Memorial Chapel, Monmouth where his family will be present one hour prior to the services.  A memorial fund has been established to be designated later.
