Fry, Grace Lee

Grace Lee Fry, 88, of Little York, Illinois died at 2:00 P.M. Monday, July 2, 2007 at the Monmouth Nursing Home, Monmouth, IL.

She was born June 24, 1919 at Sanford, Arkansas, the daughter of Jim and Nora (Ronhart) Hansen.  She was reared and educated in Sanford, Arkansas.

Grace married Austin Henry Fry at Walnut Ridge, Arkansas in 1940 and he preceded her in death in 1966.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed fishing, gardening, flowers and spending time with her family.

She was a member of the Church of Christ in Light, Arkansas.

Her family includes  three children, Lula Hendrickson , Larry Fry and Brenda (Robert) Helms all of Little York, 13 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, one brother Vernon Reece of Jonesboro, Arkansas and one sister Perley Ford of Center Hill, Arkansas along with nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 6, 2007 at Hoover-Hall Memorial Chapel, Monmouth.  Burial will be in Little York Cemetery.  Friends may call after noon on Thursday at Hoover-Hall Memorial Chapel where her family will be present from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.  A memorial fund has been established to be designated later.
