John Robert Whittaker

John R. Whittaker, 47, of Monmouth, died 8:14 A.M. Wednesday, December 26, 2011 at his home.

He was born May 8, 1964 in Jackson County, Missouri.

He attended Warren Achievement School.

John worked at Achievement Industries.  He loved Elvis Presley music and movies.  He enjoyed sports and participating in Special Olympics, where he won many gold medals

He was a member of the Countryside Bible Church.

His family was Jack and Amy Toal, Jessisah, Alec Jared, Ashton and Jace Toal.

Cremation has been accorded.  A memorial service will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Hoover-Hall Memorial Chapel, Monmouth with Rev. Ken Muck of the Countryside Bible Church.  Memorials may be left for Warren Achievement Center (H Street Property) or Western Illinois Special Olympics.
